What is the cost for your program?Student tuition will be paid a month in advance. The basic cost for the program is $22.00 per hour or $94.00 for a Full Day. Your contract includes all vacations, holidays, and school closings. Any extra time you have not contracted for is billed separately at $22.00 per hour.

What ages does your program serve?Infants; 2 months - 14 months, Toddlers from 15 months to 2.8 years and Preschoolers; 2.9 to 5, located in separate classrooms

What happens if my child doesn’t adjust to school?For any new child, the first four weeks are a trial period. If after that time it is decided that your child is not ready, you will only pay for the contracted days during those four weeks. All other tuition money will be refunded

How much do you charge if we are late in picking up our child?There is no charge for the first 5 minutes you are late, after that you are charged $1 per minute

What if I need my child to stay beyond his contracted time?Extended day options available from 12:30 – 5:30

What happens if my child misses a day?There are no make-ups if your child misses school for any reason, including snow days.

Do we get a refund if school is closed?School is open year-round and we will try to open every day. There are no refunds if your child is absent for any reason.

What is the philosophy of your school?Children learn by interacting with their environment and others. We help to develop socialization skills and use a hands-on play and exploration style. We have a balance of structured and unstructured activities with individual, small and large group interactions.

How many children do you have per teacher?The Teacher/Student ratio is 1 to 5 for Preschool, 1 to 3 for Toddlers and 1 to 2 for Infants.

What if my child is not toilet trained?Toilet training is not required. We follow the parent's lead and do what you are doing at home.

Do kids come to school when they are sick?Our policy is your child should be free of any symptoms without medication for 24 hours. They are not required to stay home for a runny nose or a cough. If a child becomes sick during the day, they will be separated from their peers and kept comfortable, until their caretaker arrives for pick up.

How will I know how my child is doing?You will have daily interaction with your child's teacher. At your request, a conference with the teacher can be scheduled, on the phone or in person. Progress reports are also written bi-annually; one in November and a more detailed checklist in May.

When are parents allowed to visit the classroom?We are a family friendly preschool; parents are welcome in the classroom at any time. Prior notification is not necessary but would be appreciated

Do teachers come and meet the children outside at arrival time?For drop-off and pick-up; parents must accompany their children into the building and make sure they are checked in or out by a teacher.

What if my child needs to bring something from home?Your child may bring a toy or comfort item to school. No weapons or electronic games are allowed.

What type of outside play area do you have?There is a fenced in play yard with swings, play toys, and more. We go outside twice a day, year-round weather permitting.

What is your policy on children with allergies?We are a nut free school. We are able to accommodate children who require an epi pen, nebulizer or inhaler.

What do you serve for daily snacks?Children bring their own snacks to school. We also serve filtered water and fresh fruit.

Do you offer a summer program?Yes, we offer a Summer program starting at the end of June through August. We are closed the week before Labor Day.
